Amritsar the popularly known state of Temples and significantly known for Golden Temple, is a culinary rich city with some hidden gems across the streets. A place for fried fish at Makhan and the Punjabi style Masala Chai at Giani Tea Stall to tandoori Kulchas at Sucha Singh. It was time to explore the zone out and try Local street food Amritsar had to offer. Nothing that we don’t get here in Delhi yet the best that I had over a long period of time and the succulent flavors.

For some of you may know about ‘Redi Gali’ for the rest that do not know it is near Crystal Chowk, a place is full of Aromas and Flavors. Enter to the lane and then starts the quest for opting the best possible options that you may be needed to shortlist. While Many may have this conception of not eating Chicken in the Holy City – Guys you miss out on a lot.
Separated by the different sides of the Street Veg and Non-Veg starters are served differently. While you want to start with some veggies do try the Veg Cutlets at the corner Shop with tikhi chutney or Soya kebabs at the stall just next to it while you plan to ending your meal with a Classic Chicken Malai Tikka by Baba on the other side. The recipes are similar yet different to what you may enjoy at a high end restaurant at Lawrence Road or Ranjit Avenue..
Veg Cutlets – These are not Human acceptable size cutlets these are mammoths, remember to share it. Don’t miss the Tikhi Chutney served along with it.
Soya Kebabs – Not a huge fan of these but they serve it in a makhni sauce and ever i tried i can say yeh Veg Chicken hota hai😆.
Pav Bhaji – Its Punjabi Style don’t expect much of it Mumbaikars.
Chicken Malai Tikka– Well not too much malai but perfectly charred chicken tikka with subtle flavor and each of them distinct when you take a bite. This is a must have.
Mutton Seekh – Fancied by some huge restaurant serving hunger smacking food? You’ll have to try this out.
